93. Tips to Save Money - Part 13

What are some of your tips to save money? Here’s some personal experience on great ways to save an extra buck. I'd love to hear your tips! I have a list of about 60+ tips to save money. This is part 13 tips 48-50. I hope you enjoy!

48. Double your recipe so you’ll have leftovers.
Plan ahead. Also use the ingredients you already have. Preparing and cooking food in larger portions allows you to eat leftovers. This will save you time in the long run as you will spend less time cooking and prepping food. Once a week have “Fun Meal” day where everyone eats leftovers and then you throw out whatever is too old to eat. This could also lead to fewer grocery store runs saving in gas expenses as well. 



49. Bring your own lunch to work.
Brown-bagging can easily save in the range of $1000-$2000 a year. See this post. Questions to consider:
Do you eat out when at work? If so, how often do you eat? 
Or do you take your lunch to work? 
Have you considered the cost before reading this post?

50. Bring your own snacks to work.
The snack machines typically cost 50% to 200% more than what you could get a snack or drink by buying it in bulk at a grocery store. For example What you’re paying for is convenience.
